ALGENEX and the Spanish National Institute of Agricultural and Food Research (INIA) have signed several license agreements granting ALGENEX exclusive rights for the development and commercialization of several joint patents.

Algenex's first market product is a kit for the serological diagnosis of African Swine Fever virus co-developed with Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, launched in November 2011.

Two other diagnostic kits for major infectious diseases, containing difficult-to-produce proteins as reagents, which were successfully manufactured by Algenex using its technology IBES, will be launched in 2013 by a leading multinational company in the human diagnostic sector.
