In 2022, Algenex was acquired by the founders of the Insud Pharma Group, becoming part of a group of pharmaceutical companies with a presence in more than 50 different countries and marketing products from both the chemical and biotechnology industries. This integration has generated significant synergies for the development of new products, while also providing the company with a substantial industrial infrastructure for scaling up and creating the necessary production facilities for large-scale industrial growth.
